What do you do there?
Marketing Coordinator. I organize and coordinate marketing efforts across the company to ensure an overall cohesive approach from a marketing perspective of products, pricing, markets, distribution and promotions. Also, any other way I can support the company even if it’s something as simple as making coffee for a meeting or filling out expense reports on time.
How did you end up in advertising?
Always had a passion for business and being creative. When I filled out my Business school application my freshman year, I had literally a minute to decide what my major would be. I checked off Marketing as a major because it was something I saw myself doing 20 years from then. I have been doing it in for 5 years now and never looked back.
What do you love about advertising?
The creative process, people you work with, and the dynamic environment of it all.
How would you describe Ad 2 Honolulu to a stranger?
Ad 2 Honolulu is a great organization that allows all its members to learn more about advertising. How you ask? They expose members to the advertising world first-hand by meeting and working with professionals in the field. Ad 2 Honolulu also supports the community by creating a marketing campaign for a non-profit organization every year. What do you do for fun?
Depends on when you ask me, this year I’m trying to get back to being active. Training at a boxing gym for my stress and laps at the pool to clear my head. Besides that, hang out with my crazy friends who always have something entertaining, to say the least, planned.
If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would it be?
Does it only have to be one place? I would like to check out either Dubai, Shanghai, or Macau. From what I hear, these places have a lot of growth going on and doing amazing things. I also would trade in my VIP ticket for 4 coach tickets because it wouldn’t be fun without my friends.
