Government Relations

While not widely known, government decisions and regulations play a big part in the advertising industry. Why does Hawaii have no billboard advertising? What kind of e-mail advertising is considered SPAM? From what can be said to where it can be placed, it is important to understand the rules governing our industry. The Government Relations committee focuses on key areas and projects designed to build effective relationships with our local, state and national government.

roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop effective relationships with local, state and national governments through club projects and programs.
  • Work to educate our members on government legislation and lobbying, both favorable and adverse, that affect the advertising industry.
